Raisin’ AJ Productions is an Augusta-based, privately-owned production company whose purpose is to promote and encourage awareness of various social issues affecting today’s African-American community via film and stage productions. Founded by Miss Monique K., Raisin’ AJ Productions will present dramatic, romantic, comedic, and entertaining productions as a means to bring awareness to various, and sometimes controversial, issues plaguing the community. “Miss Monique” has always participated in community service projects involving the youth and aimed at bringing awareness to important community social issues. Ultimately, Raisin’ AJ Productions desires to produce larger scaled projects and film promoting these same goals.
